William Carey University gives you the opportunity to earn your bachelor’s degree in education and become a licensed highly qualified elementary teacher or secondary teacher in a variety of concentration areas from the arts to the sciences. All the undergraduate degrees you may choose to pursue will ensure that you are well prepared for your own classroom as well as making sure you stand out from other teaching candidates.
The Department of Curriculum and Instruction provides a rigorous program curriculum that prepare you to meet students where they are when they enter your classroom. Through a combination of classroom instruction and extensive field experiences, students will explore best practices for teaching students from all academic, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds with the goal of achieving equity for all learners.
