BIO 2600 - General Microbiology 4 hrs
A general survey of bacteria and allied microorganisms. The role of microorganisms in nature, health, food preservation, and industry is considered. Basic techniques of culturing, aseptic technique, and staining are taught in the laboratory. This course includes a one-hour laboratory experience. General Education: GEC 03 - Natural Sciences
