PSY 3720 - Psychological Aspects of Aging

3 hrs

The purpose of this course is to expand upon the psychological aspects of aging discussed in the Introduction to Gerontology course. The role of the psychologist as well as the psychological factors surrounding the person who is aging will be emphasized. The importance of planning for this stage of life to remain psychologically healthy will be discussed.
Prerequisite(s): PSY 2010  and PSY 3700 /GER 3700
