Requirements
The criminal justice major consists of 45 hours, including 36-39 hours of required courses and 6-9 hours of elective courses. In addition to the general undergraduate admission and graduation requirements for William Carey University, students majoring in criminal justice who have successfully completed the National FBI Academy or the Southern Police Institute may have their coursework from those institutions transferred to William Carey University to apply toward their degree. A minimum grade of “C” is required for a criminal justice course to apply to this major or minor. Students majoring in criminal justice who have graduated from any Mississippi state certified law enforcement academy may receive credit for the following courses for a total of 12 hours:
