PSY 400 - Trauma in a Multicultural Context

This course is broadly focused on the study of psychological trauma that results from disasters and events of mass trauma. The course will emphasize the contextual aspects of trauma, the range of mental health needs resulting from mass trauma, address mental health first aid competency, assessing signs of trauma, and empirically-based responses.
