Forensic Science, Minor

Requirements

A forensic science minor consists of 20 hours of courses. A minimum grade of “C” is required for a forensic science course to apply to this minor. The required courses for the forensic science minor are:

FSC 200 - Introduction to Forensic Science with lab Credit Hours: 4
FSC 220 - Ethics in Criminal Justice and Forensic Science Credit Hours: 3
FSC 310 - Crime Scene Investigation Credit Hours: 3
FSC 320 - Introduction to Fingerprint Science Credit Hours: 4
FSC 340 - Forensic Photography Credit Hours: 3
Elective Courses: Choose one of the following upper-level forensic science courses.

FSC 410 - Death Investigation Credit Hours: 3
FSC 430 - Impression Evidence Credit Hours: 3
FSC 440 - Advanced Forensic Photography Credit Hours: 3
FSC 460 - Arson and Explosives Credit Hours: 3
