Requirements
tudents interested in a degree program that will meet teacher licensure requirements must be advised by faculty in both the Department of Art and the School of Education. Teacher education policies andprocedures, outlined in the School of Education section of the catalog, must be followed. The minor concentration will be in education.
The following art core courses are required for the B.F.A. and the B.A. degrees:
Art History (12 hours)
including Art History I and II
Computer Graphics (3 hours)
Notes:
Education majors who desire a heavy studio concentration should consult with the art department about a B.F.A. with teacher licensure.
