3 hrs 5 contact hours per week. The class will prepare the ESL student in the techniques and knowledge required to achieve the necessary subscores and composite score necessary for the successful completion of the English Language Center curriculum and the subsequent progression to the regular academic curriculum in order to pursue a degree at the higher education level. The student will learn about the components of the ACT test and take practice exams with the techniques taught in the class. Placement – Advanced Level in the English Language Center. May be taken in the Intermediate Level at the teacher’s discretion
