Each year, William Carey University selects a theme verse from the Bible to guide its mission and focus for the academic year. This year’s verse is Ecclesiastes 4:9, “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor.”
As we look to 2026-2027, this verse captures our conviction that God has designed us to thrive not in isolation, but in community - students, faculty, alumni, and friends laboring side by side in shared mission. At William Carey University, our greatest impact comes when we combine our gifts, strengthen one another, and pursue Christ-centered excellence together.
