Program Overview


Psychometrics is the field of study that looks at the design, administration, and interpretation of tests that measure human responses. The Department of Psychology and Counseling offers a master’s degree in counseling psychology with a concentration in school psychometry as well as this add-on endorsement for individuals who hold a master’s degree (AA Teacher Licensure) in education. 

Graduate Outcomes


  • Gain experience with the professional roles and responsibilities of school psychometrists.
  • Demonstrate a satisfactory commitment to ethical practice and professional collaboration in an applied field experience.

Program of Study (18-24 hrs)


* If a teacher completed EDU 6200 and EDU 6400 in a prior degree, a minimum of 18 hours will be required to bring their prior degree (assumed to be 30 hours) up to the 48 hour requirement for a degree in school psychometry. A minimum of 18 hours is required to add on this endorsement, regardless of prior course work.
