HAE 7070 - Advanced Research

This course will include quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods research. Students will examine analytical approaches for research designs. The course will focus on the elements of the research process to be used in a dissertation. Students will synthesize existing research related to a specific researchable topic. The course includes legal/ethical concepts associated with the research process.
Prerequisite(s): Demonstrate basic competence in statistics as evidenced by successful completion with a grade of B or better in an undergraduate or graduate-level statistics course within the past 10 years or substantial experience in healthcare research projects
