3 hrs This course examines the visual impact of packaging of consumer products and requires students to design packaging in a variety of formats: blister cards, boxes, hang tags, labels. Students will create a visual identity for product branding and visual merchandising purposes and produce mock-ups for a variety of print production techniques. Students must have a functional knowledge of current graphics software. Prerequisite(s):ART 2530, ART 2540, and ART 3530
