ART 3620 - Art History I: Prehistoric Through Gothic

Introduction to the art and architecture of pre-historic man, the ancient world (Mesopotamia, Egypt, the Aegean), Greece, and the Roman Empire through early 6th century; Christian medieval art (Middle Ages) styles; function and meaning of the individual works of art are discussed.
