The Department of Christian Studies equips students for leadership roles in various areas of Christian ministry. The department offers a degree in Christian Studies as well as a minor in Christian Studies and a minor in Philosophy.
The mission of the Christian Studies degree is to: 1) inform and enrich every student’s understanding of the Judeo-Christian historical, literary, and theological heritage; 2) train students in faithful exegetical and theological communication and application of Biblical truth; 3) instruct undergraduate Christian Studies majors from a liberal arts perspective to prepare students for graduate level study; and 4) prepare students for Christian ministry and service.
The Christian Studies degree is offered as a Bachelor of Arts and as a Bachelor of Science. Both degree options require 120 credit hours and a minor or a second major.
