William Carey University Scholars

The William Carey University Scholars Program awards scholarships to academically advanced entering freshmen whom the university administration recognizes as Carey Scholars. Students selected for this program demonstrate abilities for advanced academic pursuits, interdisciplinary study, critical thinking, and independent research. Each Carey Scholar receives a comprehensive institutional scholarship package.
Carey Scholars are required to complete 21 hours of honors-designated courses, which are academically accelerated and challenge students to a higher level of thought and analysis. In addition to fostering academic excellence, the program enables participants to reach their highest potential in both leadership roles and in community service.
