HEA 3230 - Consumer Health

Course designed to prepare the individual to become a better consumer in terms of health. By the end of the course, the student will have a greater knowledge of products offered to the consumer and their impact on the health of the consumer as well as an understanding of nutritional and exercise habits beneficial to longevity. Students research, synthesize information, write, and submit one consumer health-related article and an annotated bibliography. An emphasis on correct usage of written and spoken English will be a theme throughout the course.
