Owen and Elizabeth Cooper School of Missions and Ministry Studies

The mission of the Cooper School of Missions and Ministry Studies is to: 1) offer students opportunity to study the Bible and associated disciplines in their historical, literary, and theological contexts, 2) prepare students for missions or ministry in any setting whether in a local church or a multicultural or cross-cultural context, 3) prepare students for graduate level study, and 4) collaborate with churches and denominational agencies to advance the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).
The Cooper School offers degrees and minors in Christian studies and intercultural studies as well as a minor in philosophy. Additionally, through the Arabic Language Initiative, the school offers students the opportunity to learn Arabic and to immerse themselves in the culture of the Middle Eastern country of Jordan.
