As the basis for all disciplines of investigation and research, philosophy orients the student to critical and logical thinking, reflective thought, and the development of philosophical issues, personalities, and schools. This minor is ideal for students seeking to complement their major area of study in the arts, humanities, sciences, religion, or various professional disciplines.

Requirements

*Course satisfies GEC 03 requirement and a course requirement for this minor, but credit is counted only once toward total hours to degree. To avoid being short on total hours, students who select this minor are advised to select a course other than PHI 2010 and PHI 2500 to meet the GEC 03 requirement.
