COM 202 - Interpersonal Communication Credit Hours: 3
COM 205 - Argumentation and Debate Credit Hours: 3
COM 300 - Persuasion Credit Hours: 3
COM 307 - Communication Theory Credit Hours: 3
COM 361 - Communication Research Credit Hours: 3
COM 402 - Small Group Communication Credit Hours: 3

Notes:

Speech Communication majors must complete a minor. A student whose elective hours are from electronic media and news production or public relations courses may pursue a minor in electronic media and news production or public relations; however, courses may not count toward both major and minor. No concentrations are available in this major. The student who selects this major follows the degree plan for the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).
