In the Department of Language and Literature, we encourage creation, study and interpretation of works of literature, and we work toward excellence in composition and improved knowledge in linguistics, critical theory, and literary history. The department offers two degree plans, the Master’s of Arts in English and the Master’s of Education with a concentration in English. Both programs provide a strong academic curriculum and excellent instruction enriched with Christian values for students of all backgrounds to achieve their highest potential in scholarship.
