NUR 670 - Testing and Evaluation for Nurse EducatorsCredit Hours: 3 This course applies theories and strategies of measurement and evaluation of student learner outcomes to nursing education. Different methodologies are explored to measure student learning in the classroom and clinical setting. Emphasis is placed on item writing, test development, test analysis, and clinical evaluation. Concepts covered include identifying and selecting test instruments, determining reliability and validity, appropriate means of test administration, and alternate methods of student evaluation.
