Credit Hours: 3 A guided practice in arranging music for solo guitar and ensemble covering music from the Renaissance to the 20th century, including jazz and popular styles. Practical application of chord voicings and melody displacement to accommodate the guitar along with advanced timbre techniques will be covered. At least one solo and ensemble piece arranged by the student must be performed in recital.
