Credit Hours: 2 Students will learn and experience music from other cultures, specifically West African and Latin societies. Students will learn the basic drumming patterns specific to these cultures, the heritage and culture associated with the instruments and rhythm patterns, as well as the history of the culture with the skill level to facilitate drum circles utilizing authentic rhythms.
