HAE 416 - Cultural Competency for the Healthcare Professional
Credit Hours: 3 This course allows the student to develop and assess a cultural competence. The course focuses on increasing students’ levels of awareness, acceptance, and understanding of the role of culture on healthcare perceptions. Emphasis is placed on providing culturally congruent and competent healthcare to individuals, groups and communities.
